For the first time ever, Year 8 have been getting the chance to experience some of the activities that our year 10 BTEC Health and Social Care students do in Key Stage 4. By the end of the week the whole year group will have had the opportunity to get involved with some health and social care activites. Our sessions have been looking at skills and qualities required by different health and social care practitioners and focusing on 'Empathy'.  All students have had the chance to experience what people with different disabilities experience on a day to day basis while some students have also researched help available for people with mental illness.
