Mrs Timson, Assistant Headteacher, has recently prepared her assemblies around the subject of 'Empathy'.

Staff and students enjoyed a trip to Dear Evan Hansen in the West End lon 12th January to see Imberhorne alumni and Olivier award winner Sam Tutty in his lead role as Evan Hansen.

A new year and new beginnings has been the message for the first week back to school in the Spring Term. Highlighted to our Year 9s by the commencing of the GCSE Options Process.  Moving to a new Key Stage in school is all about new beginnings and starting a journey.

Imberhorne hosted the annual East Grisntead Rotary Club Masterchef Competition on 10th December with a number of Year 10 students who produced fabulous two course meals - they were cool under pressure and fabulous in the taste department too. 

Our Year 10 star bakers worked overtime after school on 7th December to produce over 200 delicious 'school made' mince pies which were delivered to local key workers and care home residents on Wednesday 8th December.

Carol singers from 11W sang and 'signed' Christmas carols in East Grinstead Town Centre on Saturday 27th November to raise money for The Greenaway Foundation, their chosen Form Group charity. Mrs Jones, their Form Tutor, was there with them to lead the way and she commented, 'most of the Form Gro

Huge congratulations to a team of our Year 8 students who won the Meridian Rotary Youth Speaks public speaking competition on Tuesday 23rd November. Isla Gladman, Terri-Jo Munday and Nina Barnert-Kalisz delivered a barnstorming 15-minute performance debating the motion ‘We Should Boycott China’.

We were delighted to get some 'live' theatre going again during the week of 15th - 19th November when our Performing Arts students took their Children's Theatre pieces to local primary schools. Oh no they didn't, I hear you cry....oh yes they did..... It's never too early for panto!
