Imberhorne at the Natural History Museum - 15th-17th October 2012

Year 8 visited the Natural History Museum in London as a beginning to their new topic, ‘Offspring’. Split into form groups the students were able to move around the many exhibits at different times throughout the day. In the Human Biology section, students completed booklets on growth and reproduction. Among others, they also visited the prehistoric animals exhibit as well as the mammals which will be of great use to the students who are about to embark on an extended project requiring them to create an exhibit on a non-mammal. The students were a credit to the school during the trips which they thoroughly enjoyed and thanks go to Mr S. Moore, Science Teacher, for organising them.
