Futures and Careers Guidance

It's been difficult to offer our usual programme of careers and futures activities this year - but our dedicated staff and resilient students have worked hard to try and find opportunities where they can. We couldn't be more proud of Year 12s who have engaged in work experience and volunteering opportunities in July. From Harry in Year 12 who has been working with disengaged Year 9s, to Neve who has completed a placement at The Tasting Rooms to the many students who officiated at Sports Day and led sessions for KS3 activities week too. We have also had students working every Wednesday running I.T. Workshops at Age UK East Grinstead. helping with on-line shopping, emails and setting up on-line accounts. Year 12 Futures Week was certainly impressive, kick started by a great programme of guest speakers on Friday 16th July.

Year 10 students visited Sussex Uni for a taster day on 21st July, while others enjoyed a programme called 'Kickstart Your Career' from the Brighton and Hove Albion Outreach Team. We also offered college presentations from Crawley and East Surrey Colleges as well as Unifrog and Skills Workshops on 22nd.
