We were really pleased to organise multi award winning provider of educational workshops, Elevate Education, to visit on Tuesday 9th November. They provided their inspiring Study Skills programme to all of our Year 11 students who are in their GCSE examination year.

Students spoke about their Elevate sessions so highly following the day. One student, when he was asked, said, 'it has really made me think about having a growth mindset and motivated me to look at revision study in a different way, a way that is so much more positive.' The student portal that our Year 11s gained access to after the session is also a fabulous tool for them. 

The Parent Portal section of Elevate's website has an excellent Q&A section and really useful info for parents who just want to help but maybe don't know the right things to say and do. Adopting a few key tips can collectively have a big impact.

Year 11 also received their Mock Exam timetable for December during the week commencing 8th November, as well as their own revision support guide from the school. Revision drop ins across subjects have already started and we have lots more planned as we move through the year to support our students in achieving their own personal best.
