Over 100 of our Year 7 students enjoyed an English trip to Dickens World in December.  The trip supports the work that the students are currently undertaking on the Charles Dickens novel A Christmas Carol.During the trip the students were able to watch a live performance from the novel,  wander around a recreation of a typical Victorian street and spend time in a Victorian classroom.  Experiencing the difference in educational techniques between Victorian England and the modern day was quite an eye opener for the students.
