During the first half of the Autumn term, Year 9 students applied for the role of ‘leading student’ and 6 were duly elected by the Key Stage 3 students. Their roles will be varied. They will include being a ‘contact’ for other students and will represent them by putting forward their ideas as well as dealing with queries. The leading students will also help out at school events and liaise with staff and Senior Students. Most importantly, these students will represent the school to the highest standard, lead by example and strive to improve the school through their endeavours. They can be approached by other students directly or by using the drop box that will be set up at Windmill Lane.
