IMBERHORNE AND SACKVILLE STUDENTS WORKING TOGETHER AT THE HEALTH AND SAFETY CARE CONFERENCE

Sixth Form students from Imberhorne and Sackville Schools who are studying Health & Social Care, recently attended a conference in which they took part in workshops put on by healthcare professionals. The conference was held in Crawley at the Teachers’ Professional Centre and was also attended by students from Thomas Bennett, Ifield, Holy Trinity Schools.The key note speaker was Versa Talati, Senior Public Health Co-ordinator who spoke about nutrition and obesity.The Head of Vocational Studies at Imberhorne and event organiser, Jennie Hollins said, “This has been our fifteenth conference and we are delighted that our students had the opportunity to interact with others studying health and social care, and to work alongside healthcare professionals.”Mrs J.
