We were absolutely delighted to hold our Year 11 Graduation event on Wednesday 4th May to celebrate our fabulous Class of 2022 and their exemplary conduct and effort in both school and the wider community.

Celebrating our students in school is extremely important to us. We use merits and praise emails to reward students regularly and to encourage the behaviours we want to see more of.

The fabulous Volume 1 Climbing centre in East Grinstead hosted a lot of Imberhorne student activity across 31st March and 1st April. A group of Year 9 students completed a sponsored climb over 2 days - climbing 2259m and raising £300 for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Our Drama department shone during the last week of March - organising live theatre experiences for over 400 students to increase their cultural experiences. All Year 8s and GCSE Drama Year 10s enjoyed the award winning trio, The Sleeping Trees and their production of ‘Western’.

Every year Imberhorne students in Year 11 embark on a 'Graduation' process and as part of this, the Year 11 student led charity event has become a rite of passage.

A very special event for our Languages department took place at Windmill Lane on Friday 25th March. A group of our Year 9 German students had their first Google Meet with an English student from Germany.

Year 10 girls joined the Advanced Maths Support Team on 23rd March along with girls from Sackville, Oathall and Downlands Schools at an event designed to provide Maths enrichment to some of our most able Maths students. We were delighted to organise and host the event and very grateful to Mr Andr

We took the whole of our Year 7 year group on a History Trip to Bodiam Castle at the end of March. The students are studying the development of castles during the Middle Ages including a case-study of the very impressive 14th Century Bodiam Castle in East Sussex.

A massive congratulations to Abbie in Year 7 who was chosen in February to be part of the British Show Jumping Junior Sussex Academy team. Abbie competed in the Bury Farm Academy Show in the February Half Term, a strong class lots of fabulous young riders from all over England.
