After a long journey, full of frustrating delays, we arrived a full 24 hours after setting off. The biggest delays were at the Channel Tunnel (three hours) and on the congested autobahn north of Munich!
The students were really well behaved and a genuine pleasure to be with throughout the journey. Before ski fitting we went snowballing in some of the deeper snow near our hotel. Bedtime was after our fire drill at 9.00pm, with few protests from many tired students...zzz... |
