If you can track the progress of an order online, why can't you track the progress of your child?

Real-time reporting is a government initiative that will enable you to do just that - keep up to date, in real-time, with your child's progress at school.

Our solution to this requirement is "SIMS Learning Gateway", a software product that allows you to see up-to-date view of your child's school records.

SIMS Learning Gateway Upgrade

West Sussex County Council, who currently provide our SIMS Learning Gateway system, are discontinuing their service.
We are migrating to a new service hosted by an alternative supplier.

From 5:30pm on Tuesday, 25th March access to the current SIMS Learning Gateway will cease.

You will, unfortunately, require a new username and password to access the new SIMS Learning Gateway, which we will start posting out on Thursday, 27th March as we can't generate them until the new service is up and running. Once you receive your new access details you will be able to login to the service again.

The "Homework" Button

This academic year we will be trialling setting Homework electronically, You will eventually be able to view homework set by clicking the "Homework" button, located at the very bottom of the Student Dashboard in SIMS Learning Gateway. As the year progresses more and more homework will be visible online, but in the interim, please don't worry that not all homework your child has been set is visible.

Don't forget to log out!

Once you have finished using SIMS Learning Gateway please log out (by clicking your name in the top right hand corner and choosing "Sign Out"). If you don't do this the system will remember your login details and anyone with access to the computer you have been using will be able to view your child's information.

Help! Clicking the "Student Details" link doesn't do anything

Unfortunately, the current version of SIMS Learning Gateway doesn't like the latest version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer - version 10. If you are finding that you can't access Student Details because clicking on the "Student Details" link doesn't do anything, then your computer has probably upgraded itself to Internet Explorer 10.

To resolve the problem, you need to ask Internet Explorer to show the site in "Compatibility Mode". This is very quick and simple - full instructions can be found here.



Forgotten Your Password?

If you have forgotten your password please click here to try the Online Password Reset Tool before contacting us. When prompted, enter your SIMS Learning Gateway username prefixed with HOSTED\, e.g. if your username is fred, enter HOSTED\fred.
