Media Studies has risen to become one of the fastest growing subject in Higher Education. This is not surprising considering that nearly everything we know is influenced by our consumption of television, newspapers, films, video, radio, magazines, advertising, and, more recently, the Internet. New technologies are serving to accelerate this consumption, which makes this an important and exciting time to study the media.
