During Year 8 and Year 9, students consistently revisit all of these skills and techniques in different scenarios, exploring historical forms and genres as well as applying these devices to scripted plays. Additionally in Year 9, students will learn about Advanced Drama Techniques including:

  • Cross Cutting
  • Line Drama
  • Signs on stage (Semiotics)
  • Technical (Lighting and sound)

Students will then apply these devices to devised and scripted projects.
