Options and Assessment

Key Stage 4 Options & Application Process

We are committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum as the basis for the well-rounded education that will enhance the future career, training and educational opportunities of Imberhorne students. The National Curriculum provides the framework for most courses in Years 10 and 11. We expect students to maintain the study of a wide range of subjects but also provide, when appropriate, opportunities for some specialisation or access to additional support.

The KS4 Options Guide for 2022-2023 outlines the courses on offer at Key Stage 4 and describes the various choices students can make to tailor their Key Stage 4 education to their needs. Our Options Process for entry in 2022/2023 is detailed in the guide below and further information may be found in our Options Process information videos.

** Q&A Sessions for any final Options queries will take place with Ms Marlborough and Mr Jones on Tuesday 25th January between 4.00pm – 6.00pm. This will be a virtual one-to-one meeting and are intended for those students who may still have questions about their choices following the Options Briefings, Mentoring Sessions, Consultation Evening and Subject Q&A's on 19th Jan. Appointments may be made using our easy to use online booking system which allows you to book your own appointment **
